“The Children by the River, (a series)” watercolor, 6x6 and 8x8 (January 2012)

I’m finally finished with my 4 kids drawings!  This is the last time I’ll be using my Reeves watercolor pans and I thought making this series was the best way to say goodbye.  It took me a while since I was enjoying every brush stroke.  

I made this series as a little reminder of where I came from.  I focused on little children just lounging around, but my last blue piece centered on being fascinated by sea life.  I’m liking this style, so I might just make more. :)
