More ACEO work-in-progress.

So as you can see, I do all of my thinking and doodling in my sketchbook.  When I have compiled as many ideas on a subject as I can, that’s the time I put it on nice paper.  For my ACEOs, I use Strathmore watercolor paper (140 lb.) and just cut them into 2.5x3.5” cards.  To add more to the atmosphere of a drawing, I use Faber Castell watercolor pencils instead of graphite.  I learned this while I was working with red conte and oils last semester.  After sketching it in whatever color pencil I wanted to use, I paint it with watercolor.  I recently have been working with my new Windsor&Newton paints and I’ll post a review on it soon.

I think I am done with my little kids series so I will be posting pictures of them soon. :)
